Introduction

Frontbase GPS is a software that can:

  • download waypoints, routes and tracks from a Garmin GPS to a file (text or Microsoft Excel) or to the clipboard
  • upload waypoints, routes and tracks from a file (text or Microsoft Excel) or from the clipboard to a Garmin GPS

Frontbase GPS is very easy to use.

Please read the "Important - Please Read" section before you start using Frontbase GPS. This section will cover some important points.

Before you download or upload you need to select the COM port to which your Garmin GPS is connected or a Garmin GPS USB device. Please read the "How to set up your Garmin GPS" section.

To download you need to click on the "Download From Garmin GPS" tab and then enter the required information. Please read the "How to download from Garmin GPS" section.

To upload you need to click on the "Upload To Garmin GPS" tab and then enter the required information. Please read the "How to upload to Garmin GPS" section.
